Didn't want Vista but I really don't have any problems with the operating system. Very seldom used, but so far so good. Have a 4 yr old HP that cost $1300.00 & also seldom used & is & has been A total piece of crap. Hopefully Acer tech is better than HP if necessary. Best Deal and Great Product! The price was great and the performance was great with an exception for the touchpad and the wireless connection. The touchpad is not as smooth as my HP. It hesitates and jumps every now and then. The built-in wireless kept dropping but I solved that by updating the driver. Overall it was the best deal, its well built and light, great features, the shipping was within the stated time (quick for Guam), and for the shopping experience.
